Academic & vocational curriculum offer

English & maths curriculum and qualifications
We deliver an age related and ability appropriate personalised curriculum to meet the needs of each student from 4-25 years old with due regard for the national curriculum and specifically the development of English and maths skills. We are accredited to deliver City & Guilds Functional Skills English and mathematics from Entry Level up to Level 2 (GCSE equivalent). We are also able to offer subject specific delivery of some GCSEs for dual registered students.

Vocational skills curriculum and qualifications
We deliver a broad range of vocational skills development opportunities and associated qualifications that are specifically chosen based on each young person’s needs, interests and aspirations. Students can access:

• horticulture, animal care, equine studies, conservation, forest school, bushcraft

• catering, hospitality

• carpentry and joinery (woodwork)

• IT user skills, coding, digital media, film production, web design, robotics

• hair & beauty, nail art

• health & social care, childcare, counselling

• customer service, retail, supply chain, reverse logisitcs, warehousing

• art & design, performing arts, music, fashion & textiles

• employability skills, independent living skills, travel training

• sport & fitness

Key Stage 4 and post 16 students have successfully completed vocational qualifications in a range of subjects/areas including, but not limited to:

• Animal Care (Level 1 & Level 2)

• Childcare (Level 1 & Level 2)

• Health & Social Care (Level 1 & Level 2)

• Nail Art Technician (Level 1 & Level 2)

• Reverse Logistics (Level 1)

• Counselling (Level 1)
