Lucas (year 10) taking a break from his countryside management supported work placement with his Lapwing tutor and our delivery partner, The Norwich Fringe Project.
Delivery partners
Our office is based in Martlesham Heath and we do a small amount of tutoring there for students based in the local area. However, we predominantly work peripatetically across East Anglia with staff going out to students and working with them in venues that are local to their homes. These venues and locations are determined solely by the focus of the student’s programme and the young person’s needs and profile. We have three of our own woodland sites and three of our own allotments that our students can access. In order to deliver highly personalised programmes, we use a broad range of venues and delivery partners. For example, if a young person is interested in animal care, then we will access a nearby care farm with them; if a student is studying English then we will tutor them in a local library, village hall or other appropriate venue; if a young person would benefit from rock climbing as part of their development, then we will take them to a climbing wall; if a student requires work experience to enhance their employability and independence, then we will source a suitable work experience placement - supported or unsupported. All delivery partners and delivery venues are specifically chosen with the young person’s location, needs and goals in mind.
